2 store-bought rotisserie chickens
teaspoon garlic powder
4 loaves frozen, garlic bread (10 oz. each)
teaspoon barbecue seasoning
1 bottle barbecue sauce (not smoked)
teaspoon onion powder
1 cup water
Remove the skin and bones from the chicken. Do not dice the chicken, but tear/shred the chicken as if you were a linebacker like Ray Lewis!! Place in plastic container and refrigerate.
Put bottle of barbecue sauce, seasonings and the water into a saucepan and heat thoroughly. Remove from heat and place in plastic container and refrigerate.
The day of the tailgate, bake the garlic bread as directed in the oven, making sure the garlic goo is facing up. Remove from oven and wrap tightly in foil to keep warm.
Combine the shredded chicken and sauce. Heat through, then place in a leak-proof container.
Place the chicken/sauce mixture on all 4 pieces of garlic bread. Put the pieces together and slice on the diagonal. Serve Calico Coleslaw on the side.
