1 tablespoon vegetable oil, plus more to oil pan
2 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons minced shallot
2 tablespoons minced lemongrass
1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
2 tablespoons minced cilantro
1 teaspoon Sriricha sauce, or to taste
1 1/2 pounds ground pork
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly oil a rimmed baking sheet (these meatballs are quite soft, so better to bake than pan sauté them).
In a large bowl, using your hands, combine the turkey, chili sesame oil, egg, bread crumbs, fish sauce, garlic and ginger. Combine the mixture well, but try not to squeeze the mixture too much as you blend it.
Make meatballs 1 ½ inches in size and place them on the baking sheet.
Bake the meatballs for 20 to 25 minutes until cooked through.
