Fashion Tech Is Here. Some Of The Most Jaw-Dropping And Wearable Innovations
Sport is almost an obsession to Canadians and around the world. How is design and innovation relative to the world of sport? That is the question that Smarter. Faster. Tougher, presented by the Design Exchange, set out to answer. The exhibition is curated by Marie O’Mahony, an expert in textile technology, a professor of Advanced Fashion + Textiles at OCAD University and visiting professor at University of the Arts, London.
Commissioned for the Pan Am games, the 2015 Summer/Fall exhibition focuses on sportswear and is in the heart of the PanAm village. The exhibit is in Toronto's Distillery District until October 12.
